Interviews continue

I interviewed Elisabeth again with the Zoom recorder, and I am now in the process of editing it down, which I am find a little difficult. I think it's because audio is hard to visualize (for obvious reasons) so trying to cut it down is hard because I can't see it all at once. Video editing is much easier in that sense.

I'm planning on interviewing Tyrone next, and Elisabeth has a couple people in mind who are musicians in Detroit.

WHAT NEXT

I'm now collecting photos from Elisabeth and my uncle, as well as editing the audio I have.

  1. Michelle,

I am wondering how you plan on linking all of these people that you are interviewing. Are they all musicians, Detroiters, varying age groups, etc? A lot of people have some connection to Motown, so what common thread might you pick out in choosing these specific people? I am interested in the sitting room installation you mentioned a few blogs ago, but don't see how this would be much different from visiting the Motown Museum itself other than a different space and different people interviewed. What happened to the idea of creating informational panels?
I am really waiting for you to get excited and start owning this project. What do you want to do or say, to who and why?
